What to expect
PDFRev can edit supported text objects directly, preserving the surrounding page content. PDFs store positioned characters rather than Word-style paragraphs, so editing depends on the fonts, encoding and structure of each file. Longer replacement text may need resizing or a new text box. The original on your device stays unchanged.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit the original text in a PDF?
Yes, when the text and font structure are supported. Select a text block to see whether direct editing is available. For other supported text layouts, use the text box tool. OCR for scans is coming soon.
Will every PDF keep exactly the same layout?
No editor can guarantee identical results for every PDF. PDFRev preserves surrounding content where possible and lets you compare the result. Check font substitutions, spacing and page layout before using your download.
Does PDFRev add a watermark?
PDFRev does not add a product watermark to your exported document. Existing content and watermarks in the source remain unless you edit them.
