Terms of Use

Using PDFRev

You may use the available tools for personal or business work. You must have the capacity and any authorization required to accept these terms. If you act for an organization, you must be authorized to use its documents and accept these terms on its behalf.

The current public service is free to use within the limits displayed in the editor. No subscription or automatic renewal is created by uploading a file. If paid features are introduced, their price and separate payment terms will be shown before purchase.

Accounts and feature access

The current public release supports basic PDF editing without an account, for files up to 5 MB and 20 pages. Available tools include supported text edits, text boxes, forms, simple annotations, page organization and cropping. Accounts, OCR, image editing, conversions, merging and larger-file access are not currently open. A coming-soon label does not promise a release date.

Account registration, sign-in and account management are currently paused. Existing account sessions do not grant higher limits during this release. If you previously created an account and need help with its data, contact us through the Contact page.

Where account records already exist, the Privacy Policy describes their handling. Keep any existing password and recovery code secure. Accounts do not provide unlimited processing or cloud document storage. Do not bypass file limits or resource protections.

Browser drafts and temporary PDF documents remain separate from accounts. Download work and remove local drafts separately, especially on shared devices.

Your documents remain yours

You keep your existing rights in the files, text, images, and other material you provide. PDFRev does not acquire ownership of your documents or your edits.

You give us permission to receive, temporarily copy, process, and return your material as needed to carry out the operations you request. This permission does not allow us to publish your documents, use them in advertising, or train an AI model on them.

Only upload or edit material you own or are authorized to use. Obtain any permissions needed for personal information, confidential records, signatures, and material belonging to others.

Use the tools responsibly

We may reject requests, limit access, or suspend use when reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect the service, or comply with law.

Do not use PDFRev for unlawful activity, impersonation, fraud, or misleading alteration of a document or signature.

Do not infringe another person’s intellectual property, confidentiality, or privacy rights.

Do not upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, or interfere with another user’s files.

Do not bypass file limits, queues, rate limits, or other security controls, including through automated bulk requests or multiple identities.

Check your result before using it

Keep your original file and review each exported result. PDF structure, embedded fonts, scans, forms, and encryption can affect what is editable and how a result appears. We do not promise that every PDF can be edited, that every conversion preserves its layout, or that an edited file will be identical to its original.

Editing may invalidate a digital signature or change document metadata and internal structure. OCR may misread characters. Word export extracts editable text and does not promise a recreation of the original page layout. Cropping changes the visible page area and does not securely erase hidden content.

PDFRev does not certify a document’s authenticity or legal validity, and it does not guarantee that editing will be undetectable. You are responsible for the accuracy and authorized use of the documents you produce.

Temporary processing and availability

PDFRev is an editing service, not a document archive. Sessions and temporary outputs expire. Browser drafts can also be removed by your browser, by storage limits, or when you clear site data. Download anything you need to keep.

Limits help keep processing available to everyone. A job can be queued, rejected, or stopped if it exceeds its file, time, or resource allowance. Features and limits may change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or faults.

Service limitations and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or fitness for a particular purpose. Any liability is subject to applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts a consumer guarantee, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. These terms do not remove any mandatory rights you have where you live.

PDFRev branding and changes to these terms

PDFRev and Stradelo identify our service and brand. The website’s branding and original interface remain the property of their respective rights holders. These terms do not grant a right to imply our endorsement. Third-party software remains subject to its own licenses.

We will publish changes to these terms here with an updated date. Material changes will be brought to your attention where reasonably practicable, and any consent required by law will be requested separately.
